I'm Shelly!
My love of Cockapoos began early, as I bred my first litter as a high school FFA project. The dogs helped support me through PTA school, and I continue to enjoy it today as a hobby. I have specialized in raising only cockapoos since 2002. We have now slowly expand into raising a few litters a year of pure-bred cocker spaniels and peekapoos. We have really enjoyed the addition of the peekapoos! What a wonderful addition to our dog family! I have cut back working hours at my job to focus on being home with the dogs and of course the kids more! That is where my heart is, home on the farm! Although I do love all the kiddos I see at work with my job, I love being a pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant. I am hoping this will be a nice balance of both! My husband is a Cow buyer covering 5-6 sales a week and we also run about 500 head of cattle. Our oldest son Lane is following in his dads foot steps! Trainning this year to buy cows and has some cows of his own. Wyatt is in second grade this year and Jacey just turned 4! We are excited to see what 2018 holds in store for us!
I'm not a large-scale breeder; as a matter of fact, my facility is located on our family farm. The puppies are well socialized around here. They get a regular dose of my three kids, cows, horses, and our silver Lab Stella! All of the moms, dads, and puppies get out in the yard to run and exercise daily (depending on the weather). All parents are raised here on the farm and are part of our family. We are also state licensed and inspected. We built a new facility for the dogs in 2012 and they love it! Yearly upgrades and maintenance keep us busy! The pens are larger and we have the new crate flooring to abide by all new state laws. We prefer to sell our puppies strickly for pets and not for breeding. We want them to have a happy healthy home where they will be cherished and loved for a lifetime! As you can see everyone gets lots of love and kid time here!
I am confident that you will grow to love your Cockapoo/peekapoo as much as I do - and I truly enjoy providing happiness to families such as yours in the form of a wiggly, jiggly, ball of puppy love!
Big things are happening this fall 2018!! Construction on our office,show room/private whelping room has begun! Nothing but the best for our wonderful girls! Pictures are soon to follow! Proud to reports we have been in the new building for one year with many more to come! 4-8-20
